Lit Path Co.

Last Updated: October 8, 2026

These Terms & Conditions outline the scope, responsibilities, payment requirements, and policies for the 5 Day Website service provided by Lit Path Co.

Please review them carefully before purchasing. By completing your purchase and accepting these terms at checkout, you agree to the conditions outlined below.

1. Project Scope

The 5 Day Website is a structured Squarespace website design service completed during one scheduled Monday through Friday Website Week.

Your project includes four core website pages:

  • Home

  • About

  • One Main Service or Offering page

  • Contact

The name and purpose of the Main Service or Offering page may vary based on your business and may include Services, Menu, Stay, Experience, Programs, Booking, or another primary offering.

Your project may also include draft Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions pages and basic blog setup when applicable, as described below.

Core pages may include up to 10 content sections each. Lit Path Co. will determine the appropriate page structure and number of sections based on the content provided and the needs of the website.

2. Website Strategy + Design

Lit Path Co. will determine the website structure, page flow, content hierarchy, calls to action, navigation, visual direction, and overall website styling based on the Client's business, goals, audience, and submitted materials.

If the Client has established branding, Lit Path Co. will work within the provided brand guidelines when appropriate. If established colors and typography are not provided, Lit Path Co. may select a simple color palette and typography pairing appropriate for the website.

Brand strategy, logo design, and full brand identity development are not included.

3. Client Content + Copy Refinement

The Client is responsible for providing the website content requested through the Client Workbook.

Lit Path Co. may edit and refine Client-provided content for clarity, flow, consistency, web readability, and placement within the website. AI-assisted editing tools may be used as part of this process.

The 5 Day Website does not include full-service copywriting from scratch, interviews, content research, or extensive content development.

The Client is responsible for reviewing and approving all website content before publication.

4. Photos, Video + Other Media

The Client is responsible for providing requested photos, logos, videos, and other media and represents that they have permission and appropriate rights to use all materials provided to Lit Path Co.

Lit Path Co. may organize, select, resize, optimize, crop, and place Client-provided images as appropriate for the website.

If needed, Lit Path Co. may source up to five complementary stock images from Unsplash.

Up to two Client-provided videos may be incorporated into the website where appropriate.

5. Third-Party Tools + Embeds

The 5 Day Website may include up to two Client-provided embed codes for third-party tools such as scheduling, booking, reservations, ordering, or similar services.

The Client is responsible for establishing, configuring, paying for, and managing all third-party accounts and services and for providing Lit Path Co. with the necessary embed codes or links.

Third-party platform setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support are not included.

6. Squarespace Account + Access

The Client is responsible for purchasing and maintaining their Squarespace subscription, domain registration, and any third-party services required for their website.

If the project involves an existing Squarespace website or account, the Client must provide Lit Path Co. with the necessary account permissions and access no later than the Content Deadline.

If Lit Path Co. creates a new Squarespace website for the Client, the Client agrees to complete any required account setup, billing, or ownership transfer steps when requested.

Delays in providing required access or completing account setup may affect the scheduled Website Week or launch date.

7. Foundational SEO

The 5 Day Website includes foundational on-page SEO such as page titles, meta descriptions, URL structure, image alt text, and thoughtful use of keywords and business information provided by the Client.

Keyword research, competitive SEO research, advanced SEO strategy, ongoing SEO services, and guarantees regarding search engine rankings or website traffic are not included.

8. Mobile Optimization + Testing

Lit Path Co. will review and refine the website for mobile devices and test core website functionality including navigation, links, buttons, standard forms, and other included functionality before launch.

Differences may occur between devices, browsers, screen sizes, and third-party platforms.

9. Basic Blog Setup

If requested and appropriate for the project, the website may include a basic Blog overview page and one styled blog post layout.

Additional blog post writing, uploading or migration, blog strategy, extensive category organization, and ongoing blog management are not included.

10. Privacy Policy + Terms & Conditions Drafts

As part of the 5 Day Website, Lit Path Co. may use artificial intelligence tools to generate draft Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions content based on information provided by the Client.

These drafts are provided for general informational purposes and as a starting point only. Lit Path Co. is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or guarantee that these materials comply with laws or regulations applicable to the Client's business.

The Client is solely responsible for reviewing, revising, and approving this content and should consult a qualified attorney regarding their specific legal requirements before publication.

11. Website Week + Scheduling

Purchasing a 5 Day Website reserves a project with Lit Path Co. but does not reserve a specific Website Week at checkout.

After purchase, Lit Path Co. will contact the Client to coordinate an available Website Week and provide access to the Client Hub, which contains the Workbook, preparation resources, and project information.

Website Week availability is limited and dates are offered based on Lit Path Co.'s availability.

The Client's Website Week is officially confirmed once the dates have been mutually agreed upon and the initial payment has been received.

12. Investment + Payment

The total investment for the 5 Day Website is $4,000, payable in two installments.

Initial Payment: $2,000

An initial payment of $2,000 is required at checkout and is applied toward the total project investment.

This payment becomes nonrefundable once the Client's Website Week is confirmed, except where otherwise required by law or expressly provided in these terms.

Remaining Balance: $2,000

The remaining $2,000 will be invoiced separately and is due by 5:00 PM Central Time on the Friday immediately preceding the scheduled Website Week.

Full payment must be received before website design work begins.

If the remaining balance is not received by the payment deadline, Lit Path Co. will not begin the scheduled Website Week and may postpone or cancel the project. Any rescheduling is subject to availability and the Cancellation + Rescheduling provisions below.

13. Client Workbook + Content Deadline

The Client's completed Client Workbook and all requested website copy, photos, branding, business information, links, videos, embed codes, and other requested materials must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM Central Time on the Monday preceding the scheduled Website Week.

Lit Path Co. will review submitted materials before Website Week begins.

The Client is responsible for providing complete, accurate, organized, and ready-to-use materials. Lit Path Co. is not responsible for delays caused by missing, incomplete, inaccurate, or late Client materials.

If required materials are not received by the Content Deadline, the project will be moved to Lit Path Co.'s next available Website Week. A $150 rescheduling fee must be paid before a new Website Week is confirmed.

14. Website Week + Client Availability

The 5 Day Website is designed to be completed during one scheduled Monday through Friday Website Week.

Lit Path Co. will manage the design and production schedule within that week and may adjust the order or timing of individual tasks as necessary.

The Client agrees to remain available and responsive during the scheduled Website Week, particularly during the Wednesday website review and Thursday feedback period.

If the Client fails to respond to time-sensitive requests, submit required feedback, or provide necessary approvals by the stated deadlines, Lit Path Co. may proceed using the information and materials already provided, where appropriate.

Missed deadlines may result in incomplete requested changes, a delayed launch, or additional fees for work requiring separate scheduling.

Lit Path Co. is not responsible for delays resulting from the Client's failure to meet the agreed project requirements or deadlines.

15. Website Review + Revisions

The 5 Day Website includes one consolidated round of revisions.

The Client will receive a website draft and review instructions on Wednesday of Website Week.

Consolidated feedback must be submitted through Lit Path Co.'s Website Feedback Form by 12:00 PM Central Time on Thursday.

The revision round is intended for reasonable adjustments to the website created within the agreed scope, such as copy edits, photo swaps, link corrections, and minor design refinements.

Revisions do not include a new design direction, additional pages or sections, substantial new content, new functionality, or work outside the original project scope.

Feedback received after the deadline may delay the scheduled Friday launch. Additional changes may require separate scheduling and fees.

16. Website Launch

The Client and Lit Path Co. will meet for a Friday Launch Call to complete applicable Squarespace subscription setup, domain connection, final launch steps, and publication of the website.

The Client is responsible for purchasing and maintaining their Squarespace subscription, domain registration, third-party subscriptions, and any other ongoing services required by their website.

Domain propagation, third-party platforms, DNS providers, Squarespace systems, and other services outside Lit Path Co.'s control may affect the exact timing of website availability following launch.

17. Website Training Resources

The 5 Day Website includes access to Lit Path Co.'s online Squarespace training course and applicable website resources.

Training materials are provided for the Client's personal business use and may not be reproduced, distributed, shared, or resold without written permission from Lit Path Co.

Training resources are intended to help the Client understand and manage their completed Squarespace website independently.

18. Post-Launch Support

The 5 Day Website includes 30 days of email support beginning on the website launch date.

This support is intended for questions related to the completed website, Squarespace, and the training resources provided.

Post-launch support does not include additional design work, new content, website updates, new pages or sections, troubleshooting third-party platforms, or work outside the original project scope.

Additional website support may be booked separately.

19. Items Not Included

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the 5 Day Website does not include:

  • Additional core pages

  • Multiple service or offering pages

  • E-commerce setup

  • Memberships or courses

  • Complex forms or databases

  • Advanced integrations

Projects requiring work outside this scope may require a separate Custom Website project or additional services.

20. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide complete and accurate information and materials by the required deadlines.

  • Respond to project communication within the required timeframe.

  • Review the website and submit consolidated feedback by the stated deadline.

  • Review and approve all website content before launch.

  • Maintain appropriate rights and licenses for all Client-provided content and media.

  • Maintain required Squarespace, domain, and third-party accounts and subscriptions.

  • Participate in the scheduled Friday Launch Call.

Delays or failure to complete Client responsibilities may affect the scheduled launch date.

21. Ownership + Intellectual Property

Upon full payment and completion of the project, the Client owns the final website content and design created specifically for their 5 Day Website, excluding third-party materials, licensed assets, Squarespace software, Lit Path Co. processes, training materials, and other intellectual property not created exclusively for the Client.

Until full payment is received, Lit Path Co. retains ownership of the design work created for the project, excluding Client-owned materials.

Squarespace and any third-party software, fonts, images, integrations, or services remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.

22. Portfolio + Promotion

Unless the Client requests otherwise in writing before launch, Lit Path Co. may display the completed website, business name, screenshots, and project description in its portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials, and other promotional channels.

23. Project Changes + Additional Work

Requests outside the included scope are not automatically added to the 5 Day Website.

Lit Path Co. may recommend a Custom Website, hourly support, or a separate website update project when additional work is requested.

Any additional work must be agreed upon separately and may require additional fees and scheduling.

24. Cancellation + Rescheduling

The initial $2,000 payment is applied toward the total project investment. A specific Website Week is not reserved until the Client and Lit Path Co. have mutually agreed upon the scheduled dates.

If Lit Path Co. and the Client cannot agree upon an available Website Week, the initial payment will be refunded in full.

Once the Website Week is confirmed, the initial payment is nonrefundable except where otherwise required by law or expressly provided in these terms.

If the Client cancels after paying the remaining balance, refunds, if any, will be determined based on the work completed, preparation undertaken, and project time reserved, subject to applicable law.

If the Client needs to request a change to a confirmed Website Week, the request must be made in writing. Rescheduling is subject to Lit Path Co.'s availability and may require a $150 rescheduling fee.

If required materials are not received by the Content Deadline, the project will be moved to the next available Website Week, and the $150 rescheduling fee will apply before a new Website Week is confirmed.

Lit Path Co. may reschedule a Website Week due to illness, emergency, or circumstances outside its reasonable control. In that situation, Lit Path Co. will work with the Client to arrange a new Website Week without a rescheduling fee.

25. Communication

Email is the primary form of communication for the 5 Day Website project.

Project feedback must be submitted through the designated Website Feedback Form when requested. Lit Path Co. is not responsible for incorporating feedback submitted through text messages, social media messages, multiple emails, or other communication channels.

The Friday Launch Call is the primary live meeting included with the 5 Day Website unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

26. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

27. Acceptance of Terms

By completing the purchase and affirmatively accepting these Terms & Conditions at checkout, the Client acknowledges that they have reviewed and agree to the project scope, payment obligations, preparation requirements, deadlines, cancellation policies, and other terms governing the 5 Day Website service.

The Client and Lit Path Co. agree to conduct this transaction electronically. The Client's electronic acceptance is intended to constitute agreement to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions govern the purchased 5 Day Website service unless both parties subsequently agree to changes in writing.
