5 DAY WEBSITE Squarespace Website Design | The clear PathA strategic Squarespace website. One focused week.
A Squarespace website thoughtfully designed around your business, your audience, and the experience you want to create, all through a clear, focused five-day process.
Your Business Has Grown. Your Website Should Feel It.
Maybe you built your website yourself when you were getting started. Maybe the site you have now is outdated, difficult to use, or simply doesn't reflect the business you've built. Or maybe you're starting something new and want to begin with a professional online presence instead of piecing one together yourself. You know you need something better. But you don't necessarily need a large, complex website project to get there.
You need a professional website that reflects your business, creates a better experience for your visitors, and gives you a strong online home.
That's exactly what the 5 Day Website is designed to do.
A different Kind of Website ProcessStreamlined doesn't mean less strategic.
This isn't a website-in-a-day sprint, and it isn't one of my existing templates customized for your business.
Your website is thoughtfully structured and designed around your business, your audience, your content, and the experience you want to create for the people visiting it.
The difference is the process.
Instead of stretching your website project across weeks or months, I've created a structured framework that keeps decisions focused, communication simple, and your project moving.
You know what's included, what I need from you, and what happens throughout the process. And I have the space to focus on your website without juggling multiple website builds at once.
One client. One focused week. One website ready to launch.
A Strong Fit for Businesses Ready for a Better Website.
The 5 Day Website is designed for new, emerging, and established businesses that need a professional online presence without the complexity of a larger website project.
This could be a great fit if...
Your DIY website got you started, but you've outgrown it.
Your current website feels dated, confusing, or disconnected from the experience you actually provide.
You've worked with a designer before but didn't end up with a website that really works for your business.
You're launching a new business and want to start with a professional foundation.
Your business has relatively straightforward website needs and doesn't require a large or technically complex site.
You're comfortable preparing your content, photos, and other materials before your Website Week.
You value a clear scope and efficient decision-making.
You want professional guidance without spending months building your website.
Everything you need for a strong online home.
Your 5 Day Website includes four core pages designed specifically around your business.
Home
A clear, welcoming introduction to your business that helps visitors understand who you are, what you offer, and where to go next.
About
A place to share the story, people, experience, or perspective behind your business and build trust with your audience.
Main Service or Offering
One primary page dedicated to what you offer. Depending on your business, this could be Services, Menu, Stay, Experience, Programs, Booking, or another primary offering.
Contact
A clear next step for visitors who are ready to connect, inquire, visit, book, or learn more.
And the details that make everything work together.
Your four core pages are only part of the build. I'll also take care of the design, content refinement, foundational SEO, and technical details needed to turn them into a polished, functional website.
Your 5 Day Website also includes:
-
I'll determine the page flow, content hierarchy, calls to action, navigation, and overall website structure based on your business, audience, and goals.
-
I'll establish your website colors, typography, buttons, spacing, imagery, and other global styles. If you already have established branding, I'll work within it. If you don't, I'll select a simple color palette and typography pairing that complements your business and website. Full brand identity and logo design are not included.
-
You provide your website content before we begin. I'll edit and refine it for clarity, flow, consistency, web readability, and placement within the website. AI-assisted editing tools may be used as part of this process. Full copywriting from scratch, interviews, and content research aren't included.
-
I'll organize and thoughtfully select from the photos you provide, optimize them for the web, and place them throughout your website. If your own photography needs a little support, I'll also source up to five complementary images from Unsplash.
-
I'll incorporate up to two client-provided videos and up to two client-provided embed codes for tools such as scheduling, booking, reservations, ordering, or other third-party services. You'll be responsible for setting up and managing the third-party service and providing the embed code.
-
I'll take care of foundational on-page SEO, including page titles, meta descriptions, URL structure, image alt text, and thoughtful use of the keywords and business information you provide.
-
Your website will be intentionally reviewed and refined for mobile devices. I'll also test your navigation, links, forms, buttons, social media links, and other core functionality before launch.
-
If blogging is part of your plans, your website can include a basic Blog overview page and one styled blog post layout to give you a starting point for future posts. Additional blog posts, content entry, blog strategy, and more complex blog organization aren't included.
-
I'll create draft Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions content using AI and the business information you provide, then format the pages within your website. These drafts are provided as a starting point only and aren't legal advice. You'll be responsible for reviewing and approving them and should have a qualified attorney determine whether they're appropriate for your business before publishing.
Monday: Strategy + Direction
I establish the structure, content flow, visual direction, and website styles that will guide the rest of the build.
Tuesday: Design + Build
Your website comes together as I design your pages, refine and place your content, incorporate imagery, and create a cohesive experience around your business.
Wednesday: Review + Refine
Your website comes together as I design your pages, refine and place your content, incorporate imagery, and create a cohesive experience around your business.
Thursday: Revisions + Final Details
I'll work through your consolidated feedback, complete final refinements and quality checks, and prepare your website for launch.
Friday: Launch Day
We'll meet for your Launch Call to complete your Squarespace setup, connect your domain, and take your new website live.
YOUR WEBSITE WEEKFive Days. One Clear Path to Launch Your Site.
The efficiency of a 5 Day Website doesn't come from rushing. It comes from preparation.
Before Website Week begins, I'll have the content, photos, branding, links, and information I need from you.
That means when Monday arrives, I can spend my time doing what you hired me to do: thinking strategically, designing, building, refining, and getting your website ready to launch.
A Clear Process Keeps Everything Moving.
Your 5 Day Website is designed to move from strategy to launch in one focused week. A few important deadlines and boundaries help us stay on track from start to finish.
Your Pre-Work
Your completed Client Workbook, website copy, photos, branding, links, and all other requested materials are due by Friday before your Website Week. This gives mean time to review everything, organize your content, and make sure we're ready to begin.
If your materials aren't complete by the deadline, we'll need to move your project to my next available Website Week. A $150 rescheduling fee will apply to reserve a new Website Week.
One Round of Feedback. All in One Place.
On the Wednesday of your 5 Day Website week , I'll send you your completed website draft, a personalized video walkthrough, and my Website Feedback Form.
You'll have until 12 PM Thursday to review your website and submit one consolidated round of feedback. Your revision round is intended for reasonable adjustments such as copy edits, photo swaps, link corrections, and minor design refinements. It doesn't include a new design direction, new pages or sections, substantial new content, or functionality outside the original scope.
Launch is the beginning, not the handoff cliff.
Once your website is live, I'll make sure you have the resources to confidently take care of it.
Website Training
You'll receive access to my website customization training and resources so you can learn how to make everyday updates to your Squarespace website.
Personalized Walkthrough
You'll receive a custom video walkthrough of your new website so you can refer back to the details specific to your site.
30 Days of Email Support
Your website may launch on Friday, but you won't be on your own afterward.
You'll receive 30 days of email support beginning on your launch date for questions related to your new website, Squarespace, and your included training resources.
Need more hands-on help later? You can always hire me for hourly website support or a future website update project.
A clear scope is what makes five days possible.
The 5 Day Website is intentionally built around a defined scope. Keeping the project focused allows me to give your website my full attention and move from strategy to launch within your scheduled Website Week.
The standard 5 Day Website does not include:
Additional core website pages
Multiple service or offering pages
Custom coding
E-commerce setup
Membership or course websites
Complex forms or databases
Advanced third-party integrations
Third-party account setup or configuration
Full-service copywriting or content research
Brand strategy, logo design, or full brand identity development
Keyword research or advanced SEO strategy
Email marketing setup or automations
Large portfolio or project collections
Complex blog migrations or content entry
Ongoing website maintenance
If your website needs a larger content structure, multiple services or programs, more complex functionality, extensive integrations, or a more hands-on strategy and design process, a Custom Website may be a better fit.
A few things you might be wondering
-
A Tailored Website Template begins with one of my existing Lit Path Co. templates. I tailor four designated core pages using the content, photos, logo, and brand colors you provide, then you take over to complete your Squarespace setup and launch.
A 5 Day Website starts with your business rather than one of my templates. I determine the appropriate structure, content flow, visual direction, and user experience, build the website around your business, complete the technical setup, and take it through launch with you.
-
Yes. Preparation is one of the things that makes the 5 Day process work.
Your completed Client Workbook, copy, photos, branding, links, embed codes, videos, and other requested materials are due the Thursday before your Website Week. I'll review everything before we begin.
If your materials aren't complete by the deadline, we'll need to move your project to my next available Website Week. A $150 rescheduling fee will apply to reserve a new Website Week.
-
You'll provide the information and content for your website before we begin. I'll edit and refine your provided copy for clarity, flow, consistency, web readability, and placement within the site.
Full copywriting from scratch, interviews, research, and long-form content development aren't included.
-
Your project includes one consolidated revision round.
You'll receive your complete website draft Wednesday morning and submit your feedback through my Website Feedback Form by 9 AM Thursday. I'll make the agreed-upon revisions Thursday so we're ready for Friday's launch.
Additional design directions, new pages, new sections, substantial new content, or requests outside the original scope aren't included.
-
Yes. Mobile optimization is part of the 5 Day Website process. I'll review and refine the website for desktop and mobile before launch.
-
You'll receive access to my website training resources, a personalized walkthrough of your website, and 30 days of post-launch email support for questions related to your new website, Squarespace, and the included training.
If you'd rather have me make future updates for you, you can hire me separately for hourly website support or a website update project.
-
That's okay.
If you have established branding, I'll use it. If you don't, I'll select a simple color palette and typography pairing that complements your business and the visual direction of the website.
This doesn't include logo design or a full brand identity.
-
In many cases, yes.
Your website can include up to two client-provided third-party embeds. You'll need to have the third-party platform set up and provide the embed code or information I request before Website Week.
Setting up, configuring, or troubleshooting the third-party platform itself isn't included.
-
Yes. If blogging is part of your plans, I can include a basic Blog overview page and one styled blog post layout that you can use as the starting point for future posts.
Writing or uploading additional posts, blog strategy, migration of an existing blog, and more complex category or content organization aren't included.
-
That's usually a sign that we should look at a Custom Website instead.
The defined scope is what allows the 5 Day Website process to stay focused and efficient, so I don't add individual core pages onto the package. If your business needs a larger website architecture, multiple service pages, extensive collections, or more complex functionality, I'll be happy to point you toward my Custom Website option.
-
Foundational on-page SEO is included. I'll optimize page titles, meta descriptions, URL structure, image alt text, and incorporate the relevant keywords and business information you provide.
Keyword research, competitive SEO research, ongoing SEO, content strategy, and advanced SEO services aren't included.
-
The 5 Day Website is designed for businesses with relatively straightforward website needs that fit comfortably within its four-page structure and defined scope.
If your website requires additional pages, multiple services or programs, more complex content organization, advanced functionality or integrations, or a more involved planning process, a Custom Website will likely be a better fit.
Not sure where your project falls? Send me an email before booking and I'll help you determine the best option.
